Crazy Car Driver Dressed up in a Batman costume
A car driver dressed as Batman had his flashy sports car stopped by police because he was showing wrong number plates.
He happened to be dressed up in a replica batman costume when he was stopped in the US.
They decide to take no action after he explained he was going to a charity event for children.
The only thing they did insist on was changing his plates from the Batman logo to a real number.

Latest Batman Movie
Latest word from the movie industry on batman is that the new movie Bane, based on writer Tom Hardy’s character, will be hitting our screens this summer (2012). In the story the Bane character breaks batman by crushing him totally. He does this by being brutal and very smart. It was due to the characters popularity that the writer continued with him in this latest version of the batman epic.
In fact he so disliked the original character that he did not even watch the movie.
The costumes worn by batman in the movie is not the one printed in comics but the creators accept the fact that there needs to be some change in order to make the character work. There was some concern that the mask worn muffled batman’s voice a little but the creator feels that this will be fixed by the film’s director before the film is finally released.

Tome Hardy likes the rendition of the characters like captain America but not like Spiderman 3
Surprisingly Tom had not been contacted by DC comics to add any input to the film making process.
In another little tit bit form the batman industry the actor Gary Oldman believed he had lost the film score for a previous batman movie.
Warner Bros go to extreme lengths to make sure all their material is under tight security. This would have been more than a little embarrassing for the actor has it turned out to be true.

Bring out the superhero in your children

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

When we were growing up we watched cartoons on TV, the majority of which contained superheroes. One of the most favored TV icon and comic book character in the eyes of our children is the billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne, who leads a double life. By day he is actively in charge of his company and by night he becomes the terror of his enemies by wearing his Batman costume.
The heir to the Wayne Empire remained an orphan at a fragile age after having witnessed the murder of his parents, who were gunned down in a side alley. This is the moment when the superhero’s journey begins, a journey which takes him many years in which he learns how to run his empire and fight crime by night while protecting his identity.

The Dark Knight of Gotham City refuses to be an average bystander and gets involved in taking matters into his own hands. He becomes a law abiding citizen since he never oversteps the letter of the law that might turn him into a vigilante. His code is that of honor and justice, so if your child has manifested his desire to have a Batman costume for Halloween or for his birthday then you should purchase one for him for the simple reason that it will help him build his character and learn to follow Batman’s example in being a moral individual while growing up.

The Batman costume was designed based on the symbol of a bat, to scare enemies and Bruce will use fear against them. Online stores such as Costume Supercenter sell Batman costumes, including the cape, the accessories, the belt, the boots, and everything that makes up the comic book character. If you have two or three children, boys and girls consider purchasing the sidekick costumes Batgirl and Robin, so that your trio can fight crime together.

Batman impresses little boys

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

Little boys love Batman, and they should. Superheroes are very impressive for youngesters who love to watch cartoons and play rough, but some of those superheroes are very influential in their lives.

Getting a boy a Batman costume for the holidays is a great way for him to dress up as their favorite superhero and play for hours on end pretending to be the Dark Knight in Gotham City.

The best part for him is that he learns some very good moral lessons from Batman. Batman doesn’t kill anyone and he is all for justice. He’s the ultimate good guy. Not only that, but he is a very humble person even though his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, is very rich and has everything he wants. That combination of humility and brute power is a good combination for boys to see.

Because boys are so influenced by their superheroes, it’s also nice to see Batman succeeding at fighting crime because he’s not actually super. He has no mystical powers. He is not from another planet. He doesn’t fly. He’s a normal person who have extraordinary will, perseverance, and skill. He is able to fight off bad guys because he has studied the martial arts. He’s able to outwit them because he is a very intelligent person. He’s a great role model for boys who see a great deal of violence in the media. Batman’s violence all has a purpose and is only used when absolutely necessary.

Gift yhour child with a Batman costume and allow him to be the Dark Knight so that he can learn from a great role model and superhero.

The Batman costume story unfolds

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

The day donned cold and sunny and the house was alive with young ones brushing teeth, zipping up jeans and and packing back packs. Flying downstairs, mom, dad and offspring alike, shoveled in coffee, juice and pancakes. Every morning the same scenario played out as everyone in the Maple street house had much to do and not enough time in which to do it. As the children filed out, blowing kisses and grabbing lunches, mom thought she caught sight of a familiar fabric peeking out of one of the back packs. It was gray and sparked some fuzzy memories.

A little while later, while riding the subway, mom continued to ponder the piece of the gray outfit she saw in her son’s back pack. Lost in her thoughts, she missed her stop. All at once, she yelled out, “Of course”! Subway strangers stared in her direction as she proclaimed the mystery of the back pack solved. It was a batman costume stowing away! But, why? Why would her boy take it to school? She had to know what he was up to. Having finally realized she had missed her stop anyway, mom decided to go on over to the school and find out just what was going on.

Once in the hallway of the bustling school, mom concealed herself a bit, zipping up her hoodie and moving around in awkward motions thinking herself stealth, almost invisible. In a chatty, colorful crowd, mom spotted her boy. They were on a nutrition break, chewing granola bars and joking around. Mom’s curiosity was killing her! Where is the costume and why did he drag it here? She frowned as the bell rang and she still had no answers. Her boss was less than understanding as she called in to say, it would be just a bit longer until she arrived at work.

Mom’s patience paid off. From a safe distance, she could see her boy at the lunch table, removing the batman costume from his back pack. A lovely little blonde girl reached out to finger the costume, smiling up at mom’s son. She giggled and took a bite of her sandwich. The boy smiled as he munched potato chips and appeared to be telling her a story. He chatted happily and motioned toward the costume. The blonde kept smiling and eating. Her boy was charming her with the old costume. Amazingly adorable.

2 snippets of batman news

We have been hearing some gossip that the next Batman film is going to involve Christopher Nolan playing the role as he defends against criminals occupying wall street in New York city.
The shooting of the film schedule means he will be meeting up with real protestors against the capitalist system in which we live.
Perhaps big trouble when you consider the enormous budget of the film. The concern is that the actual arrival of the shooting crew in the middle of a real life protest will give them another axe to grind against capitalism.
Batman had better be ready.

In another snippet on the batman theme, the 21st century perhaps takes away the fun of dressing up in a cape to play the role.
Rocksteady have a new game out that is situated on the streets of Gotham city itself. The backdrop is that the council has given up control of the slum area to criminals and surrounded them with a a high perimeter wall as a type of ghetto prison area.
