Jonathan London should be ashamed of this title. If you as a parent think it is funny for the text to teach your child “trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat; if you don’t, I don’t care, I’ll pull down your underwear” then buy it. Otherwise, boycott this party game for all the right reasons!!! Truly distasteful and offensive literature.
My grandchildren love Horrible Harry stories. The are 7, 9 and 10
I read this party game to a classroom of twenty third and fourth graders, and successfully kept their attention for almost half an hour. Engaging dialogue combined with situations immediately familiar to emerging readers makes this a great autumn read.

My three year old son loves this party game! We have so much fun looking through all of the pictures and finding the hidden objects. It has been a great tool for increasing concentration.
I got this party game for my 3 year old granddaughter as a present and was so disappointed in it that I bought a substit …

This party game is your typical Froggy party game.

There is the usual event where Froggy turns “more red in the face than green” and the reference to underwear. I teach 2nd grade, and my students still have that “EWWWWW” reaction to underwear or nakedness, so the party game has that shock effect. The only thing that I do not like is the “trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. If you don’t, I don’t care, I’ll pull down your underwear”, but the kids love it. I just don’t love it when they repeat the verse or go home and say it!

I love the touches of the changing of w’s to v’s to sound like a vampire, and of course the abundant onomotapeia. If you love Froggy, then you’ll love this party game! It is perfect to add to your collection of stories to read before going out!
Our first grade class rated all of Jonathon London’s Froggy party games. Froggy’s was rated the favorite Jonathon London party game. Jonathon London has made reluctant readers excited about reading. Kids love watching Froggy get into …

But how can he? is next week and he must come up with a great costume. How about Super Frog? “Flying high over the city. Faster than a dragonfly! Stronger than a bullfrog!” Or perhaps something scarier: Count Von Frogula! But then his mom reminds him that vampires have fangs, and that Froggy is a toothless wonder. Froggy has a lot of spooky thoughts on his mind, that’s for sure; little does he know just how scary his will be!

Jonathan London hones in on the joys and horrors of for the young, especially for boys who are not prepared for the amorous attentions of girls. He and Frank Remkiewicz Quiet, Wyatt! have collaborated on the numerous other lighthearted, frolicsome Froggy party games in the series. Ages 4 to 8 Emilie Coulter essing up in costume. Still, my 19 month old loves Maisy!! …

I love the beautiful illustrations in this party game

I just discovered this party game and took it home to my two year old and he loved it.
The writing style is simple and straight forward, and has just the right amount of spookiness it was neither too scary, nor too mundane. The illustrations are clear and attractive, and fun for a small child. My son enjoyed pointing out the different monsters as we flipped the pages.
As soon as I was finished reading it my son asked me to read it again, and for a children’s party game, I cannot think of higher praise.

My son is just turning 3 and borrowed this party game from the library to get him excited about .did it ever! We didn’t know how much he was taking it in until one night when we were very tired and reading it to him.we stopped to yawn and he filled in the rest of the story in a very scary scary whispered voice! So much fun we are buying it! GREAT pictures and colors that go right along with a GREAT story! I will probably buy this for all my niece and nephews for next

” That familiarity also made it fun for the kids. They are now looking forward to starting “The Night Before Thanksgiving,” though I am trying to wait until it gets a little closer to the actual day.
I love Natasha Wing. She is a wonderful author and this story is really cute. I teach and I enjoy reading it to my kids at school.
