If you want to compete this Halloween for the department with the best party?
This Halloween it’s going to be a theme from the movies and a possible theme winner for anyone and everyone who decides to celebrate. However, if you want something even more different try this:

HORROR FILMS

This works really well . There are so many scary films to choose from or stick them all together, and you’ve got one easy big theme. You can use movie posters and assig roles to your different peoplk ein the office as a good start.
You could pick 1 film and run it through your compete event.

MURDER MYSTERY

Make it interactive and it wil be great fun. As walk past, give them clues and let them work out who did it! Use a Murder Mystery game or write one yourself and decorate around it. Cluedo is a great theme because everyone has played and has seen the film. Dress one person as the butler, another as the maid, and someone else can be Professor Plum. An interactive theme is always popular.

WILLY WONKA & CHARLIE ALL GO CHOCOLATE

Chocolate is a hit. Decorate your party area like the film, and dress up as the different children and parents. Give out personalised chocolate bars with one having a golden ticket good for something special, that you will line up.
This is a great theme that everyone will get and love, especially if you give out a present of some sort.

Pyjamas nights for a hen party

Monday, February 12th, 2007

Think back to the last time you threw a party for your girlfriends.
If you are having difficulty remembering the great times you used to have then its time to throw another.
What about those pillow fights and beauty parlour things you got up to?

Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

Invitations
Post off all your friends a little teddy with a bride’s veil attached. Tie a little string around its head or arm with your invitation attached to that.
Put all the detail of your party on that little card.

Decorations
Put out posters in your room of good looking guys. You could also set up a scene form your childhood parties or alternatively pick an era to focus on and use.

Menu
Your food can really be very easy to set up. You could ask everyone to bring along thier favouritre bedtime snack. The more they bring the the less work you have.

Activities
Hire some fun films like Betsy’s Wedding or Hugh Grant’s 4 weddings and a funeral.
If you liked the oldies you could take out Gone with the Wind or Casablanca or, more recently, Love Story.

Whatever theme you go for just take that little bit of effort to tie them up as much as possible.
It works a treat and everyone will remember your do.
